Westerwood, formerly known as Friendship Village, is a nonprofit Life Plan Community located on a beautiful, wooded campus just northeast of Columbus, Ohio. We were founded in 1978 and quickly began to build a reputation for our full continuum of outstanding care and our inclusive, mission-driven culture.
As a life plan community, Westerwood provides the living options you want while eliminating the challenge and concern of finding a new community when higher levels of care are needed. Westerwood consists of 183 Independent Living apartments, 64 Assisted Living apartments, a 14 suite Secured Memory Care unit and a 75-bed Rehab Facility offering both long term care and short-term rehab. As your needs change, you’ll find the support you want right here. With Life Care, Life Choice, and rental contracts, you will also find several financial options. All pricing is based upon the residence selected.
Westerwood sits on 23 wooded acres accented by gardens, walking trails, and welcoming courtyards. With a varied and interesting social calendar, friendly and interesting neighbors, and well-appointed apartments, it offers a great place to enjoy life. Here, you can explore the freedom that comes from maintenance-free living and enjoy the peace of mind that a true life plan community brings with all levels of care within one, familiar setting. Multiple services and amenities make it easy to actively pursue what you’d rather be doing, while genuinely friendly neighbors and staff lend a sense of warmth.
