The Northland Community Council
Community Service Awards
The Northland Community Council works with its member organizations to recognize individuals who have made significant, positive contributions to their neighborhoods. Each NCC member civic organization can make up to three nominations for a Community Service Award each year. Through a sustained effort, or in some cases a single selfless and amazing act, these individuals have made their neighborhood stronger and the lives of the people around them better. Community Service Award honorees are recognized at the annual Northland Community Awards Banquet.

NCC Organizational Awards
The Northland Community Council has established four awards to recognize excellence within its membership of community groups and civic associations. Since 2010, the NCC has named an annual Association of the Year. In 2011 the practice was expanded and a Community Publication of the Year, Blockwatch of the Year, and Civic Event of the Year have also been recognized. With the help of corporate sponsors, these titles are accompanied by cash awards to help advance and continue the good work of the winners.
